History

Diamond was developed more than 25 years ago by international finance experts on behalf of a big concern. In 1992 Diamond International Systems Limited (England) took over and distributed the existing software. During the next 10 years the transport modules for the accounting system were upgraded massively. Now the software is in use by various types of transport firms all over Europe.

In 2010 new management took over through succession planning.  A new firm named dibms ag (Switzerland) was established.  The new holders and Diamond International Systems were already working in close collaboration for some time. Therefor it was a natural changeover and the founder Chriss Triandafyllou will stay on as partner in an advisory capacity for the new management.  The complete system has been upgraded to the current version to cater for new technology.   The latest version - release 10.0 - was rolled out in November 2010.
